PROF DR. RUHANAS BINTI HARUN
Professor Dr. Ruhanas Harun is currently Professor at the Department of Strategic Studies, Faculty of Defence Studies and Management, National Defence University of Malaysia (UPNM). Prior to joining UPNM in June 2010, she served as the Head of the International Relations and Strategic Studies Programme at UKM, and before that as Head of the Department of International and Strategic Studies, Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences, University of Malaya and Coordinator of the ASEAN Studies Programme at the Asia – Europe Institute, at the same university. She researches, lectures and publishes on the theme “Foreign Policy and National Security”. She holds a BA (Honours) in International Relations from the University of Malaya, and MA from the University of Paris – Sorbonne and a post-graduate diploma in political studies from the Institute of Political Studies 9Sc. Po), Paris. A qualified translator, she has a post-graduate diploma in translation from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. Dr Ruhanas has taught extensively in Malaysia and abroad, including at the National University of Vietnam, Hanoi; University of Cairo, Egypt and Universitas Pembangunan (Veteran), Jogjakarta. From 1996 to 2008, she taught at the Malaysian Armed Forces Staff College (MTAT) in the areas of Malaysian politics, foreign policy and regional affairs. Since 2008 she has been conducting courses in the same field at the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR) and the Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MPAT). Currently she is affiliated to the Institute of West Asian Studies (IKRAB), UKM as an associate fellow. She is frequently consulted by the media and government agencies on international affairs.


HE DATUK ISKANDAR BIN SARUDIN
Datuk Iskandar Bin Sarudin has been Non-Executive Independent Director at COMPLETE LOGISTIC SERVICES BERHAD since April 8, 2015. He holds BA (Hons) in Malay Studies from Universiti Malaya and Diploma of Public Administration. His work experience includes: 1979-1983: Appointed to the Administrative and Diplomatic Service of Malaysia as Assistant Secretary (ASEAN) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; 1983-1986: Second Secretary, Embassy of Malaysia, Jakarta, Indonesia; 1986-1989: First Secretary, High Commission of Malaysia, Lagos, Nigeria; 1989-1991: Principal Assistant Secretary (CHOGM), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Principal Assistant Secretary (East Asia), Ministry of Foreign Affairs; 1991-1996: Tasked by the Ministry to establish Embassy of Malaysia in Republic of Chile, Counselor, Embassy of Malaysia, Santiago, Chile; 1996-1998: Tasked by the Ministry to establish Embassy of Malaysia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Counselor, Embassy of Malaysia, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina; 1998-2000: Deputy Director General (ASEAN), Ministry of Foreign Affairs; 2000-2004: High Commissioner of Malaysia to Sri Lanka, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Republic of Maldives; 2004-2006: Ambassador of Malaysia to the Republic of Philippines, President of Colombo Plan Organization, Colombo (2005-2006); 2006-2010: Deputy Secretary General(Management Affairs) Ministry of Foreign Affairs responsible for Service, Finance, Administration, Security, ICT, Consular Development; 2010-2011: Ambassador of Malaysia to the People’s Republic of China, (Presented Credentials to President Hu Jintao on 30 July, 2010); 2011-2015: Ambassador of Malaysia to Mongolia (concurrently accredited from Beijing).
