18 August 2020, Kuala Lumpur: A seminar organized by SEARCCT was held at the Le Meridien Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The lecture was attended by all key personnel, and representatives from various related government agencies, private companies and GLC’s. Malaysian Institute of Defence and Security (MiDAS) was represented by both Assistant Director of Contemporary Security Centre, Lt Kol Dr Maimunah Omar and Encik Tajuddin bin Mohd Said.

The lecture was delivered first by DCP (R) Dato’ A Paramasivam, General Manager of Security, Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) on the topic of Challenges in Ensuring the Covid-19 Pandemics. Second lecturer is Prof Dr Ruhanas binti Harun National Defence University of Malaysia, she delivered on the topic of Malaysia’s Resilience and the third lecturer is Captain (R) Rusli bin Abd Rahman, Former Deputy Director-General of Chief Government Security Office (CGSO), he talks about Operations of Critical Infrastructure- Best Practice. The objective of the seminar is to discuss about the important of protection critical infrastructure in Malaysia and the challenges during the MCO. The forum also shares a view and deliberate deeply about Malaysia Resilience including how to produce a resilience nation, how resilience we are and the Malaysia core values such as Socio Political, Economy, Territorial Sovereignty, International Recognition, Sustainability, Good Governance and Military.
