25 January 2017- Mr. Yusuke Arai, Director National Security Policy Division, Foreign Policy Bureau of Japan made a courtesy call to MiDAS.  He and his delegation were received by Lt Gen Dato’ Suhaimi Bin Hj Mohd Zuki, Chief Executive of MiDAS.  Subsequently, the Japanese Delegation that includes Mr Takeshi Kodo, Political Officer and Col Masataka Nishinaga, Defence Attache, from the Embassy of Japan, were hosted to a roundtable discussion chaired by Chief Executive of MiDAS that includes numerous officers of CDSRC. Amongst others, Mr. Arai give a brief information on Japan’s greater contribution in the Indo-Pacific region. The delegation were also given an insight into MiDAS organization, activities and its function as a think tank for MinDef. As a token of appreciation Chief Executive of MiDAS presented him with MiDAS's publication.
