27th Oct 2020: Colonel Abdul Rauf, newly appointed Defence Advisor from High Commision of the Republic of Maldives visited MiDAS

Colonel Abdul Rauf, newly appointed Defence Advisor from High Commision of the Republic of Maldives visited MiDAS. The Defence Advisor made a courtesy call to Acting Chief Executives MiDAS, Mr. Noor Hisham bin Rosle.

A briefing on MiDAS roles and tasks as well as a discussion on defence and security matters was held held during the visit. Some of the points discussed include a possible cooperation between MiDAS and similar institution in Maldives. The visit ended with an exchange of memento between Mr Noor Hisham bin Rosle and Colonel Abdul Rauf.
