7^th October 2021 - A delegation from NASTRAC (National Security Strategy Centre) headed by Mr. Shamril Faizalis bin Shamsul Bahari paid a courtesy call to En Noor Hisham bin Rosle at MiDAS.

The main purpose of this visit is to introduce NASTRAC whilst discuss further opportunities for cooperation and collaboration especially from the aspect of the national security agenda between NASTRAC -MiDAS. NASTRAC is a newly established agency under the National Security Council (NSC) was fully operational on September 7, 2021.

Among the functions of NASTRAC are to formulate security policies and strategies related to the country, develop the capacity and competencies of security cohesiveness as well as to conduct analysis, research and cooperation with strategic partners particularly in the implementation of the concept of ‘Total Security’ as stated in the National Security Policy 2021-2025.
