25 June 2019 -  On 25 June 2019, a delegation from China Institute for International Strategic Studies visited MiDAS. The delegation headed by Major General (Rtd) Gong Xianfu was received by MiDAS Chief Executive, Vice Admiral Dato' Ganesh Navaratnam and MiDAS officers. The China Institute for International Strategic Studies delegation was briefed on MiDAS roles and analysis on policies related to defence and security. The visit ended with a presentation of memento.
