22nd Sept 2020: Commodore Mustaque Ahmed, Defence Adviser from the Bangladesh High Commisioner visited MiDAS.

A briefing on MiDAS roles and tasks as well as a discussion on defence and security matters was held held during the visit. Some of the points discussed include a possible cooperation between MiDAS and similar institution in Bangladesh. The visit ended with an exchange of memento between Capt M. Saravanan the Director of Maritime Security of MiDAS and Commodore Mustaque Ahmad.
