14th March 2023 -Malaysian Institute of Defence and Security (MiDAS) headed by Mr Noor Hisham, Senior Director received a visit from the Higher Command Course (HCC) India participants and hosted a roundtable talk with them.
The 21 participants were led by Lieutenant General Devendra Pratap Pandey. The delegations from HCC India were accompanied by Col SV Sarma, Defence Advisor at the High Commission of India in Kuala Lumpur.
The visit includes a briefing on MiDAS by Capt. Tay Yap Leong Director of Maritime Security MiDAS, the Malaysia Defence White Paper by Mr Kamarul Hafidzan Kamaruddin from the Policy and Strategic Planning Division at the Ministry of Defence Malaysia and the Joint Force Services and Challenges by Lt Col Chen Boon Jong RMAF from the Malaysian Joint Forces Headquarters. The visit ended with an exchange of mementoes and a photo session.
