23^th November 2023 -The China Institute for International Strategic Studies (CIISS) delegation led by Major General (RTD) Du Nongyi visited MIDAS on 23 November 2023.

The visit was filled with a courtesy call to YBhg Mej Jen Dato' Hj Ya'çob bin Hj Samiran, followed by a roundtable discussion. This programme was fruitful as both sides discussed Malaysia-China relations, China-ASEAN relations and possible future collaborations between the two institutions.

Both sides agreed that such engagement should be continuous and added new milestones in Malaysia and China's defence diplomacy.
