MiDAS TALK 2/2024 took place at Berjaya Times Square on 24 October 2024 under the theme "Pengurusan Bencana: Sinergi WoGoS Perkasa Pertahanan Negara." The event served as an important platform for discussing disaster management strategies and the critical synergy between various agencies in strengthening national defense.

The event featured two distinguished speakers who shared their extensive experience in crisis management. Brig Gen Muzafar Shah Bin Mosam Shah, the Director of the Royal Service Corps of TDM, provided insights on logistics management. He highlighted his role during the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing the importance of effective logistical strategies to ensure operational continuity. His experiences underscored the need for adaptability and collaboration in times of crisis.

Col Mohd Sakri Bin Husin (R), a former KPSU MKN, was recognized for his leadership during the MH17 tragedy, where he headed the negotiation and management team. He shared invaluable lessons on effective disaster response and recovery, focusing on the emotional and logistical challenges encountered in such critical situations.

The discussion was expertly moderated by Lt Col Ts Dr Maimunah Omar, Deputy Director of Contemporary Security at MiDAS. She facilitated a meaningful dialogue that kept the conversation engaging and relevant for the audience.
